Good to be out on a different university campus in Budapest today with the wonderful international team of CU guests. We gave away pastries and drinks, engaged people in conversation and invited people to the final event tonight (13th March). It was a privilege to pray with one individual to receive Christ.

One of the highlights of the university mission in Enschede the Netherlands 🇳🇱 this last week was hearing from Nick who became a Christian at last year’s passion week and this year was serving on the team. Passion Week - 2nd - 5th March 2026.

One of the things I love about university missions is the opportunity to sit around and have informal one-to-one conversations about God, spirituality and the deeper questions of life that sometimes don’t get addressed in our frenetic lives. Last night was no different and it was great to stay round after the evening talk to chat to students in the students union building on campus.

A good planning meeting yesterday with Richard Moy and Claire and Tiff from SOMA about a trip to the continent of Africa, where I’m leading a team later in the year. It’s to the Central Busoga Diocese of the Church of Uganda and it was good to be joined on the call by its Bishop, the Rt Revd Patrick Wakul . We look forward to partnering with him and serving the vision of the diocese and learning from the people of God in that place.

Good to catch up with my dear friend and prayer partner Matthew Porter today when I spoke at the College of Archbishop’s Evangelists (of which he is the Chair). We both spoke affectionately of the third man in our triplet Ric Thorpe who we have lent to the Anglican Church of Australia for a season to serve as the Archbishop of Melbourne.

It’s been lovely being back in my home county of Lancashire this weekend to lead the Church anniversary weekend for Caton Baptist Church. It’s been a busy time doing a training conference on Saturday as well as being the after dinner speaker for a celebration dinner on Saturday night. A true story : Greg the Evangelist and the Ethiopian taxi driver I caught an Uber last night from Woodbridge to Annandale in Virginia USA. 🇺🇸 It was about a 40 minute ride and I got chatting to the taxi driver. It was a joy to speak at this Conference yesterday (18th October) in Bath, and then field Q&A for young leaders at an evening supper event.

Back late last night from a weekend of training in evangelism, preaching, teaching and mentoring and doing evangelism at St Luke's Cranham in Greater London. People seemed to be inspired, equipped and released to share their faith and three people made public commitments to Christ. I returned last night from a week long ministry trip to Moldova 🇲🇩 . This was one of the most fascinating trips I’ve done this year. My thanks go to Aidan Patrick Benbow for the invitation and for organising the packed programme (I think he got more tired than me 😜).
