St. Mary's, Cogges

As a Church we don't gather for "Second Sunday" at 10.30 at St Mary's Cogges but disperse for mission.

This month I did a seminar on street evangelism at 10.00 in the Parish Centre then a group of us headed to Market Square in Witney. We did a series of short talks (with story, magic and visual aids) and testimony interspersed with songs (both sacred and secular) whilst we gave out literature and engaged with the public.

After this we headed back for a BBQ lunch at the vicarage hosted by the Vicar and his wife, Simon and Sue Kirby (and it was great that a family we met came back and joined us).

The weather was glorious and it was a joy that one individual prayed to receive the Lord. Quite literally today - the meeting place was the training place for the market place!
